I’ve had a high interest in the creativity with epoxy and hardwood for a long time. I started off by doing small pieces in my spare time all the while learning and progressing into creating a beautifully finished product. My wife fought cancer for 2.5 years until she passed back in August 2020. During that time, I was home a lot more from my regular work in construction/ building to support my wife’s battle and support our children. In my downtime, I would work in the shed creating items and sometimes selling them to friends which was amazing as it was very therapeutic to me being able to do this work. I eventually made my first coffee table for my wife who absolutely loved it. Gradually people were asking for bigger jobs and eventually I took the leap to start doing this full-time. The name 257 Epoxy Woodworking was inspired by my wife as 25/7 is her birthday. I wouldn’t be doing this today without her support and encouragement.

There are no limits as to how creative you can be. Epoxy with hardwood furniture and pieces suit any decor and style of home. It is hardwearing and durable. Creatively, no piece is ever the same – from the timber to the epoxy colour and finish. They are true statement pieces and make wonderful gifts.

The ordering process is easy as I will be in regular contact throughout. It starts with you filling out a few details such as name, location and giving a brief description of what you are after (item, colour, design). I will then get into more details with you personally to get a good description of what you are visualising and provide a rough time frame for completion as well as any other details required. After submitting a deposit, I will get to work and send regular photos and updates to you until the job is complete.
